Comments:
Toyed with chasing WRTC qualifying points. Started the contest a few minutes late and worked the low bands hard. Not many QSOs, but a good multiplier.
When I went to 20m at 0400z, I discovered the main stack had high SWR. Ended up doing all 20m work using the TH7DXX at 40′. Hard to tell if that hurt the score or not.
Nice to see 10m open both days. Felt like sporadic E the first day. Possibly F2 the second. Getting 27 countries on 10m resulted in a personal best multiplier. Heard UA2F for 2 hours the first day, but he could not hear me.
Had trouble staying focused when the rates dropped. So took lots of breaks to walk the dog, watch TV, swim, and spend time with the family. I guess I really am retired from serious contesting.
With the low amount of activity, this contest would be better in 24 hour format.
Always fun to work Europe. I love the guys that copy the full 10 QTC without needing any repeats. Thanks to everyone who took QTCs.
CR2X gets my vote as the station with the widest clicks on their signal.
