Comments:
Casual effort. After 3 weeks away from home in the last 4, didn’t have the rest or motivation to do a full effort. Operated while it was fun and walked away when it wasn’t. It was fun most of the time.
Friday night was an SWL contest listening to Eu work each other. I took my first break after just an hour!
Sat morning was cool. Amazing rates on 15 meters. I remember when having a 100 hour was a big deal. This weekend I had 3 hours over 200!!
SH5 says best 60 minutes was 266. Sent my call after every QSO.
Worked EU on 10m both days. Sure didn’t expect that.
Conditions were improving on Sunday. Finally worked some JAs in the final hour. Had a bunch of VU call in on 20m during the afternoon. That’s what I love about this game – you never know.
Have never felt so weak on the low bands. I don’t think I had a single answer to a CQ on 75m. Called lots of Eu that were more than 20 over 9 and they just CQed in my face.
The CQ WW is an amazing event. Love all the activity from around the world.
Happy to work two different KP2 and KP4 stations. Hope the contest offered a break from their reality.
Funny moment. 2330z Sunday. KC4AAA announces he doesn’t want to do any more contesting and was going to QSY to 17 meters.
